IT - SATI E SHIVA

In questo lavoro ho voluto ricreare il momento in cui Shiva aprì il terzo occhio.
La leggenda parla di Sati, la compagna di Shiva.
La ragazza per giocare coprì gli occhi del suo amato facendo cadere il mondo nel buio.
Shiva dovette necessariamente aprire un terzo occhio nel centro della sua fronte per dare nuovamente luce al tutto.

Il racconto è simbolico ma si sviluppa grazie a Sati che mettendo in difficoltà il suo compagno
lo spinge ad un necessario cambiamento/miglioramento.

EN - SATI AND SHIVA

In this work I wanted to recreate the moment when Shiva opened his third eye.
The legend talks about Sati, Shiva’s companion.
The girl covered the eyes of her beloved and made the world fall into darkness.
Shiva necessarily had to open a third eye in the center of his forehead to give light to the whole again.

The story is symbolic but it develops thanks to Sati who, putting her partner in difficulty,
pushes him to a necessary change/improvement.
